WE HAVE FENCES!

So for those of you interested - WE HAVE 3 NEW FENCES! And boy do they look good! We are extremely happy with them and the guys were great - good old wog connection - I can comment as I am half wog myself! Well close enough to anyway!

The big move is still happening next week and the phone should be back on by the end of next week - maybe depends on this small thing called APEC which seems to have everyone in a flap at the moment.

Photos will follow promise but all is good!

IT'S OURS!

Would you believe it? It's finally ours! I know amazingly the bank did give us the rest of our money and keys were handed over! Wonders will never cease and unfortunately neither will the mortgage but we still have a brand new house!

So when do we sleep over? Moving date will (hopefully) be the 5th Sept so if you don't want to be called on during the APEC weekend organise a trip now! No sorry we aren't doing our bit for Sydney city during APEC - we're STAYING!
No seriously some lovely removalist type fellows will be doing most of the work this time round so Nic doesn't even have to leave the country. For those of you who don't know Nic conveniently left for Korea during the last major move of the Trpezanovski household. Not this time though - his nice new employers have even agreed for him to have the day off on the Wednesday so all is good.

Pictures of the new carpet

And an update on downstairs complete with new plant!

As for the big house warming - it will have to wait. As luck would have it I'm off into the big blue yonder for a quick jaunt to 'sunny' old London on the 14th Sept to visit the newest Grice edition and unfortunately I'm going by myself. As you can tell I'm devastated by the thought of leaving Nic and Zoe, the dogs, unpacking of a new house, work etc behind but we'll muddle through!! (I can't wait!)

Xmas drinks - hopefully - will be on us if all goes to plan. The replacement of the fence seems to be a drought breaker at the moment with torrentail rain pouring down on Concord during our attempted fence building exercise. Nic and I believe it is our back neighbour who is a member of a
secret rain cult who has put the rain hex on our fence building - let's just say she's being a little old biddie and that is putting it mildly!!! We will prevail let me tell you!

To summarise we are extremely excited about moving, the fence will prevail come rain, hail or shine and we would love for everyone to come and visit because we have a great space now for BBQ's etc. Well we will once the backyard is cleaned up - it's a bit of a clay swimming pool at the moment but minor problem.

Will keep you posted!

It had to happen.......

So it has finally happened......Trpezanovski's have joined the blogger age!

Why now and not before I hear millions cry?......Pure and utter laziness would be my reply to you all.
What better time to get started than at the end of 'the building our house' project and just because I can.

Not much to say at the moment though - loss for words really.

For those of you interested - the house is still NOT ours! The bank is being a little stubborn in returning calls but that will not deter - we certainly haven't come this far just to sit and look at it for another couple of months. So hopefully the next couple of weeks will see us at least get keys to the front door so we can legally go inside!!!
Fencing, driveway and carpet guys are all ready to go just waiting on us now.

So anyway like I said not much to say really - certainly not anything too profound at this stage - I'll work on my publishing / editing skills for the next installment. I'm sure everyone will be waiting in anticipation!!

Can't leave without the obligatory photos of Zoe and our latest trip to the Zoo.

Ciao
